This page will help educate members on the what exactly it means to create "human rights based rule of law in Pakistan."

First, some definitions...

"Human Rights are those regarded as belonging fundamentally to all persons; such as freedom from unlawful imprisonment, torture, and execution." (Meriam Webster)

"Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, gender, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible." (The United Nations)

"Rule of Law is the principle that no one is above the law. Rule of Law cannot exist without a transparent legal system, the main components of which are a clear set of laws that are freely and easily accessible to all, strong enforcement structures, and an independent judiciary to protect citizens against the arbitrary use of power by the state, individuals or any other organization."
